Can't help but wonder how many kids living right next door are just lying round the house after school just playing video games or chatting on their cell phones, & not really doing anything constructive with their lives?
- Join Nextdoor.com and put in a request for volunteers - contact your local Area Agency on Aging for resources - consider contacting social services for your county - local Senior Center - churches or religious organizations My church helps people even when they aren't members or even believers.
You are currently of a Forum of international folks who have a history of caring for family as caregivers. I think it very unlikely that any of us are in your locale, and it's policy not to share information here.
If you are looking for help such as you mention, and have a local NextDoor I would join that. Often there are volunteers who will help. You are otherwise down to family and friends who might assist you or point you in the right direction. As someone disabled I hope you have some outreach care managers?

The best option is to find a church you like, and ask your church family for help when you need it.
