RebbeccaHawaii, welcome to the forum. I am not familiar with semi-private rooms in Memory Care. The one my Dad was in was a private room, or "college dorm room" which was what he called it :)
Back 7 years ago it was $7k per month which included daily housekeeping and linen service, plus 3 meals per day in the restaurant style dining room, laundry service, plus medicine tech service. Other Memory Care facilities in my area (Washington DC burbs) had similar prices. Wouldn't be surprise if the monthly rent was now $10k+.
Every area will have different prices and each facility in the area will have different prices. What someone would pay in the Chicago area will be different than downstate Illinois or even 45 minutes north of me in Wisconsin. Adding to the "confusion" each will price differently. 1 may price their monthly rate as "inclusive" and another may have a base price and each additional service is an added fee. So when you compare prices compare apples to apples.
