Is there a program to help with discounts on license plate renewal if you make more than the amount for income?

I would be more worried about the cost for insurance

The problem with this is registration is different in every state. I live in NJ and have had the same plate for 11 years. I get a renewal card every year for my registration. I fill it out, send in my $60 and within the month get my new registration. Now my brother lives in NC and they have a tax on their cars which is a lot higher than my $60.

I think you need to call your DMV or contact your office of aging to see if there isva way to get help.
