Would Medicare pay for a patient to go from inpatient rehab to outpatient chemo treatment?

Friend is in rehab post spinal surgery, needs to start chemo ASAP. Would Medicare cover outpatient therapy while she is in inpatient rehab? Would they cover non urgent ambulance to bring her there? Can't get a straight answer from anyone

Your friend needs to call her secondary Medicare insurance carrier (the number is on the back of the card) and ask those questions directly. Each insurance plan is different, and there would be no way for an international forum of caregivers to answer such specific questions for you. Nor should you rely on any answers you may get here w/o checking with her insurance provider directly. You don't want any surprises to come in the way of bills for services not covered, in addition to all the stress the poor soul is under from surgery and now the need for chemo.

I will tell you that my mother's Medicare supplemental policy had a $100 co pay per incident for all ambulance trips, whether emergent or non-emergent.

Hoping for the best possible outcome on all fronts for your friend.
