Incontinence is a big problem in the house. With a depends and two big pads we still have a giant mess. Does anyone know the most absorbent?

Absorbent pads to put in a depends underwear to help with the leaking?

Just don't go 'cheap' on these.

Found out that mother was buying the cheapest 'diapers' and they are just padded with cotton which does not begin to absorb the urine. Once soaked, they just pour out urine like a towel being wrung out. She's flooded her pants, mattress and carpeted floors and her recliner. Just lets them 'dry out'...ugh, here we go again.

All the work to get mom's apt to not stink has been kiboshed by her cheapness. She has the money, but she loves, loves, loves to shop from catalogs and so she will spend hundreds of $$ on garbage and wear the worst incontinence pads/diapers.

Tena products have worked well for my dad (diapers and pull ups) and we use quick change wraps. I just wrote about this on another post.
They wrap around the penis like a cone and absorb a lot of urine. They are easy to change (can pull back the diaper and switch one out) and they keep the rest of the skin and area dry. They are pricey but have been worth it - we’ve used less diapers/pull-ups since buying these.

I agree that Depends are the least absorbent product and Tena is much better, thankfully we never needed the heavy duty brands like Tranquility, Abena, Attends etc. If you are going to add an extra pad you need to look for BOOSTER pad that don't have the leak proof backing

Not a fan of depends or other store-brand underwear. I swear by Tranquility premium Overnight even during the day with my loved one. Tried Tena recently, which was okay, but still came back to Tranquility. Has held up for urine great. I do not know if any will hold up to a really bad stomach not caught in time.
