Would a 65 year-old person be considered a senior and eligible for some of these services?

Geaton777 Aug 2021
Your profile states:

"Helping a friend who is awaiting surgery for severe scoliosis."

So I'm assuming she may need post-surgical in-home help? Back surgery is serious so she'll probably be in rehab for a while, covered by her Medicare. Can you give more details or ask more specific questions? Thanks!

In most cases 65 is considered a Senior.
And what services are you asking about?
Often depending on the situation people under the age of 65 can be eligible for some services.

Hi Macklee, it all depends on what services you're speaking of and also where you are. You're in the States, in NC? A local seniors social worker could help you out here.
