Anyone have a patient who suffers from vasovagal syncope and/or postprandial hypotension syncope?

I would like to know how you handle preventing the syncope for an Alzheimer’s patient.

I have a 75 year old friend with fairly frequent vasovagal episodes. Her triggers appear to be dehydration and stress (she is caring for her 101 year old mother!)

Treatment for post prandial appears to be smaller meals and fewer quicly digested carbs (think white bread/rice/white pasta).

Hydration is very important in both of these conditions.
