Mom 87 in Care Home with Lewy Body Dementia. Anyone with this type of dementia?

My mom was diagnosed just 6 months ago with Lewy Body dementia but I would say she as had it for around 18 months starting very slowly but over the last 4 months she seems to have gone downhill rapidly she can no longer walk is incontinent can’t string a sentence together as lost Mental Capacity and now only weighs 62 lb I’m worried we are going to lose her a lot earlier than at first thought any one else seen a loved one with this type of dementia.

My brother suffered with early onset Lewy's in the opinion of doctors, and as diagnosed by symptoms. He did very well with the diagnosis the following year, with some deficits that did not progress overmuch. He died of septic cellulitis at age 85, and in all truth I am relieved he never had to take the decline that Lewy's would have brought on, and with it being robbed of every dignity left. Please call in hospice and know there is no upside to this, only more indignity, loss and pain for your Mom. I am so sorry. At 62 pounds there is no doc in the world who will not get you hospice; they are such a help, even when a person is already in care. Do not prolong this agony for your Mom, would be my heartfelt advice. My bro was the best man I ever knew. I would not have wanted him to suffer more.
