I'm not sure what to do. My mom has been here since Christmas due to an ulcer on her foot and it’s all healed but then the virus happened.

And she was scared to go home. Now it’s time for her to go home but Illinois has extended to June 1 st. She wouldn’t be going anywhere except to drive out to get her mail. As many of you know we will be going down every week to check on her and work on the farm. So she is safe from the virus she lives in the middle of nowhere. She has an alert and her neighbor is a nurse and is right there if needed and she will check on her. Should we move her back down or have her here longer.! It's really starting to effect our life and relationship. I don’t want to be selfish though

I would go to do the farm work and stay a few days if possible. She will miss you but the longer she is away the harder it will be. I’m sure you need a break.

I am with Joy. She could go home and if still having a problem, can come back to ur house when u visit.

If mom’s foot has healed and you can trust her and her nurse friend to care for it, I’d say it’s time to launch. There is the telephone and you and Lee will be down every week. Personally, I couldn’t wait to get back to my home. Be kind and respectful when you tell her it’s time to go, but be firm.
