I agree that you need to see an ophthalmologist. I had floaters about 20 years ago. They went away. My dad’s never left. I also had the flashes discussed in the attached article just once. So it may not be permanent but do try to get an exam as soon as it’s safe as it could get worse.
Make an appointment to see an Opthalmologist and have the appt scheduled for June.
Or call your ophthalmologist & see if they are still seeing patients as many of my doctors are via telehealth. Some practices continue to see non sick members only. With an eye, however, an exam is physically necessary.
Availability of any out patient provider here in MD is questionable. Non internal medicine offices are closed or again seeing well members only but that may change this week.
