Can I take Linzess 145Mcg for an abscess tooth?

JoAnn29 Dec 2019
You need to have a hole drilled in the tooth to release the pus. Then, u will have a root canal. Antibiotic alone may not clear it up. Its used more to prevent a infection or to make sure the abcess is cleared up.

If your tooth is bothering you, then go to the ER (Because most dentist offices are closed for the weekend) I was told once by a dentist that the hospital grade antibiotics are better with pain than the dental grade antibiotics. I also heard that you can prick an aleve softgel with a needle and you can rub it on the affected area. I heard it works pretty good but you may want to consult a doctor regarding that one. Good luck.

Get yourself on an antibiotic. I have told my story here. An abscess, led to a root canal, led to extraction which then led to a fractured jaw and major surgery. I was not put on antibiotics initially, then was put on too mild of one and too much time was wasted trying to needlessly save the tooth. My life has been altered greatly. You should get on clindamycin which is effective for bone infections which is what an abscess is.

Seriously? Linaclotide (Linzess) is a drug used to treat irritable bowel syndrome with constipation and chronic constipation with no known cause.
