How long after stopping a med should we wait to see if we get the results we are looking for?

Depends on a lot of things - kidney function, liver function, half life of medication, & age to name a few.

It would be hard to predict this as many medications are excreted by the liver & kidneys. If they aren’t working as they should it will take longer to see the effects you are looking for due to factors listed above.

You must appreciate, surely, that it's going to depend entirely on what the medication is and what results you're expecting to see.

Whatever those are, I hope you're doing this on medical advice.

What med? Some take a month or two to get in the system.
