I am trying to find out the name of a product they use when you are in the hospital. They place it between the legs to help soak up pee.

It looks like a large q-tip swab but much larger.

I think this is what OP is asking for. I often wonder why more people caring for someone bedridden don't use this. It's way better than using diapers or pads. No mess, no fuss and most importantly no cleanup.
