I take care of my mother and on Medicaid. Will Medicaid take her life insurance away from me?

If she leaves me her life insurance will Medicaid take it away from me?

I cannot work out of the home and am not disabled. Just taking care of mom is a full time job.

Is your mom on medicaid or are you on medicaid? That's a world of difference. We need more details.

Medicaid won’t take it away but it has to be reported to them and it will affect your Medicaid eligibility. You may not qualify for benefits anymore.
