My mom had a TIA and is now hearing music. It’s called auditory hallucinations or musical ear syndrome. Has anyone dealt with this?

She completely lost her hearing in 1 ear about 2 months ago, has hearing aids, hearing much worse since TIA. Also Dr quadrupled her BP meds. Has dementia as well.

Baradee, my Mom had issues with hearing "talk radio" whenever she wore her hearing aid. Finally the hearing aid place was able to adjust her hearing aid so she wouldn't be getting that feedback.

Curious why your Mom blood pressure meds was quadrupled, that a huge jump in dosage. Have you noticed if your Mom is less active, or very tired? Maybe adjusting the meds would also help.... never know if there is a relationship between the meds themselves [fillers used in the pills] and audio feedback.
