Is a vehicle in my and Mom's name considered an asset for Medicaid eligibility?

We bought vehicle with my moms money before she went into a nursing home and on Medicaid. The vehicle was paid for with her money, but the vehicle title is in her name and my name (her daughter) is also on the title. The car insurance is in my name? Is this under scrutiny or subject to income or assets considered for Medicaid eligibility? This is the only vehicle she owns.

They are permitted one car and a home. I imagine you are using it to transport to doc appointments and such? Yes, it is worth checking into.

I would tell them about it. Wasn't the car part of her application?
