Can an adult child receive their deceased parent's VA benefits?

As my SIL says, BIL was in the service, not her. Very few benefits the wife is entitled to without the husband.

Check out Medicaid for your husband and start now, it is a lengthy process. If it is possible find an elder law/Medicaid knowledgeable attorney to help you through the process. You as the spouse do not want to loose your living because of hubby needing help. An attorney will ensure you are taken care of as well.
