My daughter needs TBI rehab after being hit by a car. Her Medicare is assigned to Kaiser but they are denying treatment. Any suggestions?

She also has medical. How can I convince Kaiser to allow her to go to Traumatic Brain Injury rehab? The neurosurgeon strongly recomends it.

H'm. I see they try to make it nice 'n' easy ... you want to go to the webpage headed "Coverage and Claims Appeals" under "Member Services". There you will find the forms you need to fill in on your daughter's behalf.

And if I were you, I would do this with the assistance of your daughter's neurosurgeon's office to make sure you haven't missed any key points.

But first of all, what's happened so far? And what reason did the insurer give for denying your daughter's initial claim?

I'm sorry you're having to deal with this worry on top of your daughter's injury, which must be quite upsetting enough on its own.

Recommends? I would not think that is the same thing as prescribing. Will the Neuro prescribe rehab?
