I relocated my mother but are they going to expect me to pay?

About 4 years ago I brought my mom into my home, she was unable to care for self, in fact really didn't leave her bed much.  I relocated her. If they are going to expect ne to pay, I'll bring her home, and pay for nursing care. I'm very frustrated. Only wanted to be a good daughter

Need more info. Where did you relocate her. You must have had money to put her there? So what is the problem, money is running out? Then u need to apply for Medicaid if were she is excepts it. If you signed something saying you were responsible than you are. If not, then as a child you r not responsible. POA does not make you responsible.

Well, they certainly expect someone to pay, as they have right to. Does you mother have the funds for this? Would she qualify for Medicaid?

Whether you might have any responsibility depends on what you may have signed with the facility.

Are you POA? Did you sign contract as POA for mom? If not, ask them to redraft the contract. Does mom have the money for the care? Is she on Medicaid? Is she in a Medicaid facility?
