I see lots of answers saying to hire someone. Does anyone have a book title on how to care for a spouse?

If you want practical advice the internet is a great resource, just google almost any question you have and you will probably find something written on it. YouTube has some wonderful videos showing practical nursing skills, and Teepa Snow's videos on dementia are always informative.

Carerick, contact your State Medicaid office [different from Medicare] to see if your wife would qualify for Medicaid, and what programs are available in your area to help you.

Also, contact your Agency on Aging in your county, they also have some programs that may be helpful.

Thanks for the reply. I've read lots of books. Most of them say hire this one hire that one. Sorry to say our funds are limited. I just want to know how to do it myself. I can't pay for everyone's expenses. Sorry.

I've read your profile and see that you are caring for your wife. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the blue section. Within that section are a lot of excellent articles that you can draw upon for information.... until a caregiver here is able to point you to a book that has help them.
