First, understand it isn't 100 days. That is only the max...but, if she fails to make progress, Medicare can drop her at any time.
The only thing that starts (restarts) the Medicare paid rehab is when it is immediately preceded by 3 days in an acute care hospital. In other words... and NEW injury that required a period of hospitalization for acute care.
