Does my mom (88) still need her thyroid medication?

YES YES YES --- insufficient doses of Thyroid meds (synthroid) cause confusion and make the rest of the endocrine system work harder. Make sure she takes them at least 2 hours AFTER eating anything and then there must be an hour before she eats anything else
