My client is suffering with Alzheimer's and depression. Most days I can't get him out of bed and into a shower. Any suggestions?

I am with him for an 1 1/2 Mon-Fri. I have no problems waking him up and giving him his meds. He just goes back to sleep after that, no matter what I do or say!

Yes, his daughter has! They help for a little while and then they don't! She got me the book 36 hours. I'm going to read that and hopefully! The videos don't help me because the clients are pretty much easy going, at least the ones I have watched! Thanks y'all!

Has his family offered any tips on how to get him out of bed? It must be very frustrating especially since that's your job---to get him up and bathed. You can't pick him up and sling him over your shoulder. Try the Teepa Snow videos on YouTube. She might have something to offer that will help.
