Is this lease in a senior living complex or is this lease for a vehicle? What terms didn't he agree to? The terms of the lease or the terms on how to proceed to cancel said lease?

I assume if your name isn't on the lease, then let your boyfriend handle the situation himself, unless he has memory issues and would need your help.

If you are joining in the litigation, the lawyer will also be sending you a bill for services. Keep that in mind.

It sounds as though they will speak to you about the problem if he fills out a consent form, so I don't think you would need to go beyond that.
