Are there any Florida State or federal government benefits available for BPPV sufferers?

Social Security essentially says there is no disability, so no benefits. If you do the exercises, it should go away in a matter of days. (begin quote) "The important thing to keep in mind is that the social security administration does not award benefits based on simply having a condition, but, instead, will base an approval or denial on the extent to which a condition causes functional limitations." (end quote)

This link is a dot com, so the moderators will likely delete it, but I found it by using an internet search engine and typing in "BPPV benefits florida" ssdrc Lots of information on this page, with links to even more.

You can always apply. They may say no, but then again, they may say yes. Good luck!

Your best bet is to apply for a federal benefit, SSDI (social security disability insurance)
