Have Aunt (78) showing moderate paranoia and dementia. How to help?

Afraid of her living alone. She moved 3 weeks ago because she believed her neighbor was breaking into her home. This went on for 4 years. Now this morning we got a call someone broke in and left a note and stole some of her thing. She lives alone with her dog and I am concerned for her safety. How or what can the family do to help?
