I am the newly appointed guardian for my mother and I am being sued for nursing home bills.

I am legal guardian for my mother, my father passed in September, leaving all assets to my mother. The will was never probated by executor of the estate, ( my sister ), funds are missing, I as the newly appointed guardian am being sued for nursing home bills, there are no funds for an attorney, can you help

If the bills are for Dad, they should be suing the Executor, not you.

NH admissions paperwork, you do need that.

Normag - .? 's For you.....
- NH bills are for your dad (from when he was in a NH) OR for your mom (who is currently in a NH)....
- why no probate &
- was there a valid will for dad...
- who did & signed off on any NH admissions paperwork for mom....
- are you a court appointed guardian? And dud mom have a prior court appointed guardian?

The answers will make a difference in getting better comments.
-is mom on Medicaid (Medicaid not Medicare)
