Medication for incontinence?

First of all...let me say, my parents doctor has been good for nothing since they've gotten older...but they are toooo old to change doctors. My poor father pees in his pants regularly. He wears underwear with a pad in them and pajamas. He changes his wet underwear at least 6 times a day....and several times a night. He has a jar next to his bed because he can't make it to the bathroom. Several times I have spoken to his doctor about it...and all he does is cut his water pills down. THIS IS NOT WORKING! Isn't there some type of meds for prostrate that would cut down on this heavy dripping?

My Dad has this problem mainly at night.... he thought he could solve it by not drinking water but that caused dehydration. His primary doctor gave Dad Flomax, and so far, knock on wood, that has slowed down the number of times Dad needs to get up in the middle of the night.

Saw Palmetto. It reliefs the prostate swelling and the urgency to go.
Water pills certainly don't help the situation. Can you give those in the morning and not at night?
