My dad can no longer care for her and she has survived multiple rounds of chemo and radiation over last four years for small cell and non small cell lung cancer. The doc in her home state has just identified a spot on her liver and spleen and she has chosen to forgo the biopsy at this time - she is coming to live with me for now.
I have never dealt with elderly service providers and this is all very sudden. Are all hospice providers reputable? Do I need to evaluate reviews, etc? How does one go about selecting one if she is already associated with a hospital/cancer center that provides it? Thanks!

When you say your mother is coming to stay with you "for now", is this a short-term thing - a breathing space, just time for your mother to reassess plans, if you like - or do you expect it to become the arrangement for the duration?
I hope I'm not being insensitive, but how far ahead are you looking? Are you prepared for what you might need to deal with?
