Dad is a WWII Vet receiving A&A and Housebound pension. Do I have to pay any taxes on these funds?

I totally care for him. Currently I am paying self employment taxes & we are struggling!!! What can I do?

You keep on reporting those wages!!! Holey smokes if you pocket it as a gift, and Dad needs Medicaid for a nursing home, there will be a gift penalty!! Plus the VA wants proof of where the A&A money went. Yikes!!
