I just need some help so my Mom can get a land line phone at her house. Advice?

AT&T and I belive V-tech also have models with an audio assist function for a little boost in volume above the regular volume control.

oralia, depending on the age of the house there should be telephone land line outlets on the walls in various rooms. Target sells landline telephones. I would recommend the stationary phone that has a telephone cord on the receiver instead of the cordless phones that sit in a caddy.... I found my Dad would forget to place the phone back into the caddy and after a couple of days the phone would be dead.

Some local phone companies have programs, deals, discounts, etc. for disabled and low income people for land lines. Ask about those offers.

Call your local phone company to have it installed??
