Are medicare supplemental plans regional or national?

Looking for supplemental plan which can be used in more than one state because medical care is obtained in PA and MD. Is there a special way of searching to identify the correct plans?

I got my supplemental plan through AARP, have been real pleased with the plan. You would need to check with them to see if the plans can cross State lines.
