An aged family member needs IHHS to come help out. What is the program for over aged 85 called?

Or is it IHSS, in-home supportive services, a program for aged (not SSI, not low-income, not Medicaid (California)? What is the 'special program' called, how old do you have to be to qualify, what is t h e contact info in So. CALIFORNIA?

My sis is sure her 90 y.o. MIL had this service under IHSS. Has anyone heard of this? Sorry if I've been mis-informed, but if anyone knows, you all will! IGLOO?
Can you help?

Thanks again, gave them the contact information. Was also wanting to know if ever called upon to help someone else aged.

I remember something I heard about MediCal that one does not need to be low income to have MediCal? Doubt very much these people would want MediCal because of the poverty stigma attached, been employed and independent their entire lives. I respect that! Maybe they should just pay for help?

Thank you Guestshopadmin! By Medi-Cal Certification, does that mean one must qualify for MediCal with low income, or just be aged?
