The advantage plans for Medicare are offered by several companies. They handle Medicare for you and usually include all parts of the Medicare package, including Part D for prescription coverage. Payments are deducted from the SS each month, the same as Medicare. My mother is on Blue Advantage that is managed by BC/BS. We have been satisfied with it.
