Can I get pay directly in mass for my elderly care without going to an agency?

You can go through a PEO or payroll agency who will be responsible for all taxes, insurance etc. I use one in my business. I "rent" my employees rather than take the responsibility as an employer

I think you need to be a little more specific in your question..do you mean in Massachusetts? or en masse, meaning all at once? Yes, you could contract with a person to do their care without going through an agency, I have done so in the past, but WITH the family's input and support and also, they did have a lawyer draw up a contract of some kind. If it's a family member, do you have the support of your family? Too many questions are popping up in my head..maybe repost with more info and you will get some better advice.
