Each Trust has a unique EIN, just as companies would have. If I understand your question correctly, the EIN for the Trust from which payments are made would the one used in payments made. Unless the Trust has been reconfigured in some way and created a subtrust or a new trust, I'm not sure why a new number is needed. However, I'm not really sure I understand the gist of your question, or your position. Are you the caregiver or Settlor?
