Is there a limit as to how many family members are on a POA?

notrydoyoda Feb 2015
What is going on in your family concerning how many names might go the POA?

jeannegibbs Feb 2015
All persons with POA must agree to every decision before anything can get done. Having more than one person responsible often leads to conflicts, misunderstandings, and delays.

A common practice is to name one person POA and name another as a backup, in case the first person cannot function in that role for some reason.

Not at all. You could sign a hundred if you like. Makes for interesting family gatherings.
