What amount of income do can I have claim Medicaid if I currently have Medicare?
I cannot afford a supplement to my Medicare, am Native American Indian. I am working part time and will be quitting soon. Was told by IHS I could get both. What are the income restrictions?
The reservation is a sovereign nation and has it's own separate rules. When you have Medicaid, you still keep Medicare; you have both. IHS can explain the application form, but you need to tell them all of your expenses. If you have high medical expenses, that is factored in.
