I'm living in fear while caregivers care of my husband. They are good but I'm afraid he'll fall. Any advice?

Or can't manage home anymore. Caregivers in home. One is an RN for one week the other a CNA. It's a trust issue whether they will take care of my husband properly. Also, not very forthcoming regarding scheduling, etc.

Mothers of newborns also fear leaving them with anyone. What you feel is perfectly natural. Try to go with the flow. Learn to go out for an hour, then two, then half a day. The out time is very therapeutic for YOU.

Daffodilgal, there is no guarantee that a person won't fall even with a room full of nurses, LPN's, techs and orderlies... falls can happen in a split second.
