Does anyone give care to a patient who suddenly gives a loud whoop or an equally loud and nonsensical song, or talk in rapid-fire jibberish?

My husband had a mild stroke 10 yrs ago, and several TIAs since. Lately he has been showing more definite signs of Alzheimer's. Any advice will be helpful.

I agree with jeannegibbs, Contact his primary or neurologist for evaluation.

I believe that the dementia most frequently associated with stroked is Vascular Dementia.

If you feel that your husband is exhibiting some signs of dementia, it is best to have him evaluated by a health care professional.
