Alert the hospital to the fact that she is an addict and ask the social worker to seek protective custody of your father. She can do that.

She got on it 20 years ago they have been married 22 years she was on herion and got on methadone to get off the herion and it's just been a horrible delema and now he can't make decisions for him self he him self has worked everyday of his life never drugs pretty good guy but now she worry about getting high and not his health all I want is to do is have some say in his medical I love my dad and she is. Eing very selfish

Curious why your Dad hadn't try to correct this situation with the methadone long before now. Has he been with your stepmom for 20 years or was she on methadone when he met and married her recently?

Sorry it's my computer my stepmom is on methadone has been for 20 years she is 20 years younger then my dad. They just lost there home and have been sleeping in a car so me and my husband rented them a house closer to us he is 80 years old and very I'll he stayed a week at the new house gained wait and was doing well my step mom came and took him with here to tacoma so she could get methadone then runs him in the ground I got him home last week so sick he could barley walk and now h e is back in hospital.my step mom will not consider my dad's health at all she's upset now a use he's in the hospital she wants to take him out of the hospital and run the streets he got his ssi last week 750.00 dollars and was broke a week later I just want to care for him she is going to kill him please help
