Is PACE a good program for my husband (91)?

What are the qualifications for PACE?

hi Potterysal,
I'm a geriatrician and I think the world of the PACE model. If your local organization has a well functioning center, your husband will likely get fantastic care. PACE programs also offer tons of support to families, because social services (including caregiver support) are so well integrated into the program.

Every PACE program is a little different, but I've been endlessly impressed by the ones we have in the Bay Area, and families here are very satisfied as well.

Good luck!

Here's another link that gives phone numbers for contacting the PACE program in various states. The program just came to our area and is affiliated with the county's senior services.

I'm in the process of getting my mother enrolled in this program. From what I've read, heard and learned from the people who are with the program, I believe it will really be a blessing. Ask questions. They have been very willing to work with my with the special requirements I feel my mother needs.
