I sleep 10 hours a night, exactly. Is that too much sleep?

10pm to 8am. I am 77. I feel fine.

No. I take it you're not a teenager. They'd sleep sixteen hours a day if you let them.
If you wake up feeling fresh and raring to go, ten hours isn't too long. If you wake yourself or your partner up with your snoring, and you feel like crap in the morning, then you should consider getting yourself checked out for sleep apnea.

I'm no expert, but that sounds like a great schedule to me. My parents sleep almost that long, plus they nap during the day sometimes. If your doctor isn't concerned, I would be glad I could sleep so soundly.

Well, if you wake up with a headache, then it's too long. If you wake up even more tired and Not feel tired, then it's fine. (Waking up tired means that you're not really having a deep sleep - which means no relaxed state- which means there's something wrong.) Since you wake up feeling fine, then it's okay. Unless your subconscious is bugging you that there's a problem?

Sleep as long as you need to, as long as it's not interfering with your life. I wish I could sleep longer. I wake up after about six hours, no matter how tired I am. But I get some good naps in here and there...love me a good nap! Sleep on!

Yes. You should never sleep more than six hours a night. If you can't wake up by yourself? You should set one of those braying donkey alarm clocks to wake yourself up.

Or not. ;) ;)

God bless, Sharon!!!! We get told quite enough in this world we live in. If you have the luxury to be able to sleep 10 hours a night?? You.Are.Blessed. Rock on!!!
