Extra "holiday pay" for live in?

I was just wondering, about bonus pay for major holidays for 24 hour live ins. (Example Memorial Day) I was just wondering if most families pay the aides extra on these days? Just curious waht the trend is.................

Yes, aides get extra pay for New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Usually time-and-a-half, from 7am-7am.
