I am an independent caregiver to a lady with dementia. Am I allowed to give her medication?

Do I need a written authorization from her daughter who lives with her? If she refuse to provide one, what is the best option for me to take?

You are operating in a very risky area when you are being paid under the table and have no certification or license or insurance. All the liability will be yours.
