What medications work for the dementia patient who is angry and paranoid all the time?
Mom is always complaining, creating or making up a crisis to get attention. If ignored, she gets verbally abusive. I would definitely say she has anxiety. What medications work well, Suggestions please
meds differ depending on so many variables she needs doctor visits to determine exactly what meds she needs but it does look like meds need to be adjusted, the docs will try one after another till they get trhe med and dosage correct, what you need to do is be alert for side effects, you know what mom is like when she is 'her old self' and you dont want her to be doped up
