Is there any way to receive financial compensation from Medicare for caring for my father?

My father lives with me and I prepare his meals, administer medications, transport him to medical appointments and for recreation, keep and maintain his financial books, do his laundry and other necessary things on a daily basis. Just wondering if there might possibly be any programs offered by medicare to financially compensate me. I love my father dearly and want to do everything I can for him, but the time required to be his non-skilled in home care giver is daunting and takes time away from my ability to secure gainful employment outside the home. He and I would really love to get an answer on this. Thank you.

Medicare, no. In Idaho, there is a MEDICAID program. Go to
