Where can I donate medical supplies?

every thing from expensive meds to bed liners & dipers

Medication should not be given to anyone for whom it was not prescribed. Medication should also not be just put in the garbage. Our local government holds a "Turn In Your Old Meds" event twice each year. You can take unused meds there & they will properly dispose of them. So you might want to check with your local officials to see if anything like that is available.

I give all extra to the visiting nurse. They have patients who cannot afford even the basics!

My food pantry takes the pull-ups and bed liners. Some of the diagnosis specific organizations take equipment, e.g. the ALS NY Chapter takes scooters, transfer boards, canes, etc for their loaner closet or for those w/o insurance. The meds are another story unless you know someone who may do missionary work in other countries. New eyes for the needy or lions clubs take eyeglasses and cases. (Some of the chain eyeglass makers have drop off boxes for them as well). Hearing now (MN) takes used hearing aids. Hope this helps get you started.

Call your local Goodwill. I don't think they can take meds, but maybe the other items.
