What if all family members are on board with the decision no disagreements to get guardianship?

It seems to me that your present situation should enable you to help your mother in the ways she needs it. Involving the courts doesn't seem necessary at this point.

A neighbor, unquestionably unbalanced, went thru this. Her daughter & son, an assistant DA and an MD were in total agreement, I had to testify as a member of the condo board of directors as to her inappropriate actions. Their mother claimed her children were trying to steal her money, she earned it, it's her jouse to lose, etc.The sjudge agreed with Mom, she's not danger to herself or others. He wouldn't award guardianship, but if you aready have a financial POA then exercise it to protect her assets. The holder has total control

Her health is fine it's her mental state, and yes we are all on board with the everything we are trying to get accomplished with her money. Yes thanks again

If your sister has financial POA, it is her legal responsibility to get your mother's finances in order. All bills should come to your sister & her name should be on the bank accounts. What about your mom's health? If she has dementia, it is urgent she see a doctor. Your mom may also have other health issues. Guardianship usually occurs when your mother is no longer able to decide who is to have POA. Guardianship involves expensive legal fees. Save your mother's money & as a family work together to make sure your mom is safe, healthy & happy. It's so refreshing to see a family work together! Good luck to all of you!
