How can I prearrange my funeral?

I have written out instructions for my son, but I have also told him to add or change so that it is comfortable for him. I have a burial policy which can be taken to the funeral home and they will refund him any money not spent. I have planned a very simple funeral, so he should have about half of the policy's value returned to him.
